Cadiz Carnival, celebration of International Tourist Interest, now takes place over ten days, falling between Thursday before Ash Wednesday and the following Sunday (Sunday piñata). Although these are the actual holiday dates, the Carnival of Cádiz, in itself, lasts much longer, since a large part of it, comes on around the carnival groups that participate in the Official Competition, groupings by one hand, begins to prepare, practically since the month of September, so we have time we could call pre-carnival.
