· Consideration of additional actions to be carried out related to
requests received on the Law Coastal ; Opinion
Legal Service (Confidential): The Legal Service says its views only as of the
question of the legal implementation of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights to
requests related to Law Coastal, however, recognizes that
on Petitions Commission has jurisdiction to hear cases concerning fundamental rights
and the protection of the rights of EU citizens;
while acknowledging the complexity of the issue coordinators recommend giving a
individual approach to each of the requests, giving special emphasis
those related to the rights enshrined in the Treaty of the EU. Among the
follow-up actions may include discussion of the petitioners gathered in
presence of the English Ombudsman and the transfer of some petitioners to
