14. Chair's announcements concerning coordinators' decisions

Follow-up of the debate with the petitioners and English authorities on the
"Ley de Costas".
The coordinators noted a letter from the English Prime Minister, Jose Luis
Rodriguez Zapatero, addressed to President Jerzy Buzek. They agreed that this letter
would be taken into account in asking President Buzek to write to the English Prime
Minister raising the question of the coastal law in particular with him and inviting a
specific response as soon as possible. It was agreed that when the Committee would be in
receipt of this response - through President Buzek - a decision on any further action in
relation to the coastal law would be taken.
